Training Walks

Is your dog or puppy struggling to take their skills from home to the real world? Do they seem to ‘forget’ known cues or get distracted by every little thing on walks? Whether it's other dogs, playful kids, squirrels darting around, or unexpected noises, navigating the neighborhood can be overwhelming.

Our training walks are designed to help your dog stay focused, work through distractions, and move past "scary" things calmly. We'll practice essential skills like sitting, waiting, loose leash walking, polite greetings, ignoring distractions, and even tackling mild to moderate leash reactivity.

  • 30 Minute Free Virtual Consult - If your dog has stranger danger or any reactivity in the home you will be required to be home for the first (and possibly more) walk to ensure your pups comfort and everyone's safety.

  • 30 Minute Neighborhood Walks 

  • Update After Each Session

Keep your dog mentally stimulated with our fun and interactive Enrichment Visits. These visits include toys, puzzle games, and mental exercises designed to satisfy your dog’s natural instincts like sniffing, shredding, and hunting. Each session is personalized to your dog’s needs, providing a fulfilling activity while you’re busy.

Enrichment Visits Include

  • 30 Minute Free Virtual Consult - For comfort and safety, especially for dogs with stranger danger or reactivity, you may need to be present for the first walk

  • 30 Minutes of Engaged Enrichment Activities Tailored to Your Dog's Preferences

Schedule a Meet & Greet

What to expect at the Meet & Greet:

​We’ll visit your home to meet you and your dog, ensuring a comfortable introduction and gathering the important details to offer the best care

 

During the meet & greet, we’ll:

​

  • Discuss the service(s) you’re interested in and your dog’s daily routine, personality, and preferences.

  • Ask questions to better understand your dog, including:

    • What training has your dog had? What are your training goals moving forward?

    • Does your dog display any behaviors we should be aware of, such as guarding or reactivity?

    • Is your dog comfortable around other dogs, especially in close quarters (e.g., traveling in a van)?

    • What is your dog’s play style? Are they ball-obsessed, sniffers, wrestlers, or fans of a good chase?

    • How familiar is your dog with long-leash walks, and how well do they walk on a leash?

 

Next Steps:

  • If our dog park adventures seem like a good fit, we’ll schedule a trial run to see how your dog gets along with the group.

  • For leashed walks or other services, we’ll confirm the schedule and get started right away!
